AN5740 Pocket Watch
This navigational pocket watch was used by the US Army and Navy during World War II. The model’s name is "AN5740": "A" for ARMY, and "N" for Navy.
The classic AN5740 Master Navigation Watch has been remade so that it can be used not only as a pocket watch but also as a wristwatch (currently applying for a trademark registration). This is done by a special case being attached to this pocket watch.
There have already been pocket watches wrapped in a leather cover to turn them into wristwatches. However, the cover hides the form of the pocket watch, so the original shape and beauty of the pocket watch are lost. Therefore, this product allows you to enjoy the originality of both a pocket watch and a wristwatch without any issues.
AN5740 12H White (AN5740-12W)
The early 12-hour watch model of the US Army Military Watch White also had a white dial. This case AN5740 also has a G.C.T printed dial. However, there is an older model of the pocket watch that was issued to the United States Army Corps of Engineers who went to France, in late WW1.
The AN5740-12W watch is remade to create a wristwatch instead of a pocket watch, which has a dial with great visibility and is easy to use.
The watch uses the 12-hour Ronda Swiss quartz movement.
